MyParkPay ("we," "our," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how you can control it. It applies to myparkpay.com and to parking sessions paid through our service.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email, mobile number, vehicle plate.
  • Payment information: tokenized card credentials processed by our PCI-DSS Level 1 payment processor. We never store full card numbers.
  • Session data: lot ID, start & end times, duration purchased, total paid.
  • Device data: browser type, IP address (truncated), and basic analytics (page views, referrers).

2. How we use information

  • To process parking payments and send receipts.
  • To send time-up SMS alerts you've opted into.
  • To prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.
  • To improve the service in aggregate, never to build advertising profiles.

3. What we do not do

  • We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
  • We do not track your location after a session ends.
  • We do not use third-party advertising cookies on this website.

4. Cookies & similar technologies

See our Cookie Policy for the full list. In short, we use a small number of essential cookies for login and security, and (if you opt in) basic analytics cookies to count visits.

5. Sharing with third parties

We share data only with vendors required to deliver the service: our payment processor, our SMS provider, and our hosting provider. Each is bound by contract to use the data only on our behalf.

6. Your rights (CCPA / GDPR-style)

  • Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Delete: ask us to erase your account and associated session history.
  • Correct: update inaccurate information.
  • Opt out: of marketing emails (we don't run ad campaigns either way).
  • Portability: download a CSV of your sessions.

7. Children

MyParkPay is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

8. Data retention

We keep session records for 7 years to satisfy tax and accounting requirements. Inactive accounts are anonymized after 24 months.

9. Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+). Data at rest is encrypted with AES-256. Access is limited to employees who need it for their role.

10. International transfers

Our hosting and processing happen in the United States. If you visit from outside the US, you consent to your information being processed here.

11. Changes to this policy

We post material changes on this page and, where appropriate, by email. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
